BIBS (BABIES IN BUSCOT SUPPORT)

Babies in Buscot Support (BIBS) help to give sick and premature newborns at the Royal Berkshire Hospital the best possible start in life.

A small charity, run by parents of former Buscot (neonatal ward) graduates - every penny raised helps save tiny lives and provide emotional support for families. We fund life-saving equipment, improve facilities and care for the families who follow in our footsteps. Email: info@bibs.org.uk  You will receive a FREE running vest plus incredible support before and during race day.

SUE RYDER DUCHESS OF KENT HOSPICE

Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – we’re there when it matters.

Across our various hospices and neurological centres, including a hospice in Reading and a Palliative Care Hub based in South Oxfordshire which provides care in people’s homes, Sue Ryder care for people with complex conditions. In 2021-22 Sue Ryder provided 525,000 hours of palliative and end-of-life care to over 8,100 people, and supported their families through the most difficult times, offering support and bereavement counselling. We need your help to fundraise so that we can keep these vital services running.
